12 years in IT (since 2014): started in help desk and IT support, moved through Linux system administration, and have been doing infrastructure automation and DevOps for 5 years, with AWS in production for the last 4 and a DevSecOps focus for the last 2. Now I work as a Senior DevOps Engineer & AWS Marketplace Specialist. I lead infrastructure and production security for a SaaS product on AWS: Terraform-managed ECS Fargate, AWS-native controls (Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF), and Foundational Technical Review readiness. I also design the architecture and guide the dev team on how to meet FTR and Well-Architected requirements, and I translate the technical reality into realistic plans and timelines for non-technical leadership. For me DevOps isn't just engineering. It's the practices, tools and culture that bring development, operations and security together.
